Homemade Cinnamon Rolls
🧂 Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk, warmed to 110°F Buy
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast Buy
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar, divided Buy
- 4 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting Buy

- 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed Buy
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon Buy

📖 Instructions
🥛 Activate the Yeast
- Stir the warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of the granulated sugar in a large bowl.
- Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
🥣 Mix and Knead the Dough
- Add the remaining granulated sugar, flour, salt, melted butter, and eggs.
- Mix until a soft dough forms, then knead for 7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and rise in a warm spot for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled.
🍯 Roll and Fill
- Roll the dough into a 16x12-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread with softened butter.
- Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over the dough.
- Roll up tightly from the long edge and slice into 12 rolls.
🔥 Second Rise and Bake
- Place rolls in a greased 9x13-inch pan, cover, and rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 to 28 minutes until golden.
🧁 Frost and Serve
- Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread over warm rolls and serve.
