Beef Stroganoff
🧂 Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced Buy
- 2 tbsp olive oil Buy
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped Buy
- 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced Buy
- 3 cloves garlic, minced Buy
- 2 tbsp butter Buy
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour Buy
- 2 cups beef broth Buy
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard Buy
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Buy
- ¾ cup sour cream Buy
- Salt and black pepper to taste Buy
- 12 oz egg noodles Buy
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish Buy

🥩 Sear the Beef
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season the beef with salt and pepper, then sear for 2 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
🍄 Cook the Vegetables
In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the onion and mushrooms and cook for 6 minutes until softened. Stir in the garlic and cook 1 minute more.
🥣 Make the Sauce
Sprinkle in the flour and stir for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the beef broth, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire. Simmer for 8 minutes until thickened.
🍜 Combine
Reduce the heat to low. Return the beef to the pan and stir in the sour cream. Warm through for 2 minutes without boiling.
🍽️ Serve
Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Serve the stroganoff over the noodles and garnish with parsley.
