📖 Instructions
🍅 Make the Sloppy Joe Topping:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add onion (and garlic if using), and cook until soft—about 3–4 minutes.
Stir in ketchup, tomato paste, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt & pepper.
Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thick and saucy.
🔥 Cook the Hot Dogs:
Grill, boil, or pan-fry the hot dogs until cooked through and slightly crisped.
🌭 Assemble the Dogs:
Place a hot dog in each bun.
Spoon generous Sloppy Joe mix over the top.
Sprinkle with cheese or any extra toppings you love.
🍽️ Serve:
Serve warm with a fork (you’ll probably need it) and lots of napkins. Enjoy!
🔄 Optional Variations:
Spicy Kick: Add hot sauce or crushed red pepper to the Sloppy Joe mix.
Cheesy Melt: Assemble dogs, sprinkle with cheese, and broil for 2 minutes to melt.
Make It Mini: Serve on slider buns or as party bites using cocktail sausages.
