🧂 Ingredients

  • 1 thick slice of whole grain bread
  • 2 oz smoked salmon
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tbsp red onion
  • 1 tbsp cucumber
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • lemon wedge

📖 Instructions

🍞 Toast the Bread
Toast the bread or bagel until golden and crisp. This will provide a nice contrast to the creamy toppings.

🥄 Prepare the Cream Cheese Spread
In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese with lemon juice. You can add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
Spread the cream cheese mixture generously onto the toasted bread.

🥪 Assemble the Sandwich
Lay the smoked salmon slices on top of the cream cheese, slightly overlapping.
Add thinly sliced red onion and cucumber (if using) for added crunch and freshness.
