Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs
🧂 Ingredients
- 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs Buy
- 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt Buy
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper Buy
- 1 tablespoon olive oil Buy
- 6 garlic cloves, minced Buy
- 1/2 cup honey Buy
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce Buy
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar Buy
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes Buy
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Buy
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced Buy

📖 Instructions
🔥 Sear the Chicken
- Pat the chicken thighs dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the thighs skin-side down and sear for 6 to 7 minutes until deeply golden.
- Flip and cook for 3 more minutes; transfer to a plate.
🍯 Build the Sauce
- Pour off all but 1 tablespoon of fat from the skillet.
- Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
🍗 Glaze and Finish
- Return the chicken thighs to the pan, skin-side up, and spoon the sauce over them.
- Transfer to a 400°F oven and bake for 15 minutes until the thighs reach 175°F internal.
- Garnish with parsley and green onions and serve over rice.
