📖 Instructions
🥖 Prepare the Bread:
Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread. Make sure the butter is softened for easy spreading.
🥪 Assemble the Sandwich:
Place a slice of cheese between the unbuttered sides of the bread, with the buttered sides facing out. You can add a pinch of garlic or onion powder to the buttered side for extra flavor if you like.
🔥 Grill the Sandwich:
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Once hot, place the sandwich in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, pressing it down gently with a spatula.
Flip the sandwich and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
🍽️ Serve:
Remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before cutting it in half (if desired).
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as tomato soup or ketchup.
💡 Optional Add-ins:
Tomato: Add a slice of tomato inside the sandwich for a burst of freshness.
Bacon: For a savory twist, add crispy bacon slices inside.
Herbs: Sprinkle some fresh basil or thyme in the butter for an herby touch.
