☝️ To make homemade Ginger Syrup (Makes about ½ cup):
½ cup fresh ginger, thinly sliced
½ cup sugar
½ cup water
→ Simmer all ingredients for 10–15 minutes, then strain and cool.
🍸 Mix the Drink
In a shaker with ice, combine:
2 oz vodka
1½ oz lemon juice
¾ oz ginger syrup
Shake well for about 10 seconds.
🫗 Serve
Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.
Top with a splash of cold water or club soda, depending on your fizz preference.
🌿 Garnish
Add a lemon wheel, a sprig of mint, or a piece of candied ginger for a visual and aromatic finish.
🔄 Variations:
Make it a pitcher: Scale up for 4–6 servings and mix in a pitcher with plenty of ice.
Make it spicy: Add a pinch of cayenne or muddled jalapeño.
No alcohol? Just skip the vodka — it’s a killer mocktail, too.
