🥣 Mix the Dough
- In a large bowl, whisk together the bread flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar.
- Add the warm water and olive oil and stir with a wooden spoon until a shaggy dough forms.
🤲 Knead Until Smooth
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface.
- Knead for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth, springy, and slightly tacky.
⏳ First Rise
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and turn to coat.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm spot for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled.
🍕 Shape and Bake
- Punch down the dough and divide it in half for two pizzas.
- Stretch each ball into a 12-inch round on a cornmeal-dusted peel or pan.
- Top as desired and bake at 500°F for 8 to 10 minutes until the crust is golden and crisp.
