📖 Instructions
🐟 Cure the fish
In a glass or non-reactive bowl, combine the diced fish with lime juice and passion fruit pulp (including the seeds — they add crunch!). Cover and chill for 15–20 minutes, until the fish turns opaque and is "cooked" in the acidity.
🌶️ Mix the flavors
Drain some of the liquid if needed (leave about 2–3 tbsp), then gently fold in the finely sliced chili, finely minced onion, deseeded and diced cucumber, and orange juice (if using). Season with a pinch of salt.
🥑 Add creaminess
Right before serving, gently fold in the avocado cubes and chopped herbs.
🍽️ Serve and impress
Spoon onto tostadas, serve in cocktail glasses, or enjoy it straight from the bowl with tortilla chips.
🌿 Optional Add-Ons:
A touch of ginger for extra zing
A splash of coconut milk for a creamy tropical version
Diced mango or pineapple for a fruitier flair
