Banana Bread

🧂 Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

📖 Instructions

🔥 Preheat
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.

🥣 Mix
1. In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
2. Stir in the melted butter.
3. Mix in the sugar, egg (beaten), and vanilla.
4. Sprinkle in the baking soda and salt, mix well.
5. Gently fold in the flour until just combined (don’t overmix).
6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

🔥 Bake
Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

❄️ Cool
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

✨ For a little flair
Add any optional ingredients like nuts or chocolate chips after folding in the flour.
