π Instructions
β Brew & Cool
Pull a fresh shot of espresso (about 1 oz) and let it cool for a few minutes. Warm espresso will melt the ice too fast and leave the drink watery.
π§ Chill the Glass
Fill a martini glass with ice and water to chill it while you build the drink. A cold glass keeps the cocktail crisp and helps form a better foam.
πΈ Shake
Add the vodka, cooled espresso, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup to a shaker filled with ice. Shake hard for 15β20 seconds β the vigorous shake is what creates the signature silky crema on top.
π₯ Strain & Serve
Discard the ice and water from the martini glass, then double-strain the cocktail into it. Garnish with three coffee beans floated on the foam and serve immediately.
