Strawberry Margarita

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 3 oz silver tequila (blanco)
  • 1.5 oz triple sec (or Cointreau)
  • 1.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz agave syrup or simple syrup
  • ice
  • coarse salt or sugar (optional, for rim)
  • lime wedges & strawberries for garnish

🍸 Prep the Glasses:
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass and dip into salt or sugar. Set aside.

πŸŒ€ Blend the Margarita:
In a blender, combine strawberries, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and agave syrup. Add a handful of ice (about 1 cup) and blend until smooth.

πŸ” Prefer it on the rocks? Just shake the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into ice-filled glasses.

Pour into prepared glasses and garnish with a strawberry or lime wheel.

For a frozen version, use frozen strawberries instead of fresh and skip some of the ice.
Add a splash of orange juice for extra brightness.
