Loaded Hot Dog

🧂 Ingredients

  • 4 all-beef hot dogs
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup diced onions
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup dill pickle slices
  • 2 jalapeños, sliced
  • ¼ cup crispy bacon bits
  • ¼ cup chipotle mayo
  • yellow mustard
  • ketchup
  • fresh chopped cilantro

📖 Instructions

🌭 Cook the Hot Dogs:
Grill, pan-fry, or boil the hot dogs until heated through and lightly charred if desired.

🔥 Toast the Buns:
For extra flavor, lightly butter and toast the buns on a skillet or grill for 1–2 minutes until golden.

🌭 Assemble the Loaded Dogs:
Place each hot dog in a bun.
Pile on cheese first so it melts slightly.
Layer on onions, tomatoes, pickles or relish.
Add bacon bits, jalapeños, and sauces of your choice.
Finish with a drizzle of sour cream or chipotle mayo.
Sprinkle with green onions or cilantro for a fresh finish.

🔄 Variations:
Tex-Mex Style: Add guacamole and hot salsa
BBQ Style: Swap ketchup for BBQ sauce and add fried onions
Breakfast Dog: Top with scrambled egg and hash browns
Veggie Loaded: Use veggie dogs and load up with grilled peppers, avocado, and slaw
